Who Is Jared Bellmund?

It’s a difficult task to define who you are.
Where would one even start?
Maybe at the beginning?
My earliest memories are of yellow metal dump trucks and wood floors; wooden high chairs and shared bedrooms; bubble lawnmowers and bee stings.
But that would be a really, really long story. It could be… never-ending.
Maybe I could tell you my interests and talents. Or maybe my many achievements. I could tell you all the difficulties that I’ve overcome.
Past achievements, past mistakes. They are only knowledge and lessons to help me improve myself for a better tomorrow.
I could possibly tell you about my family. My beautiful and supportive wife, Jenny, who stand by me no matter how difficult I am or how many mistakes I make. I could tell you about my strong and empathetic teenage daughter, Jamie, who has taken me on an emotional rollercoaster which has taught me more about myself than about her. Or my courageous and entertaining son, Jonah, who I see myself in. Which both excites and makes me very nervous.
But, this is supposed to be about me, not others.
And though those 3 amazing people enhance my life substantially, they are only a part of who I am.
Maybe I could use my bio to explain who I am to you?
Yeah, that’s the ticket.
I recently went through the process of rewriting my bio. A short, concise explanation of what the most important aspects of me are.
In the past, my bio has always been descriptive of the job I had. I wanted to update it to reflect all aspects of my life, not just work. I was looking to have more of a personal brand bio.
After too many hours of writing and rewriting sentence after grueling sentence I realized I was not good at being consice.
[This is not a surprise to those who know me]
I thought about how to portray myself in simple, relatable, meaningful ways… and still be consice.

Hashtags.

Yes, #Hashtags were my answer.
I researched my most commonly used hashtags.
#MakeMovesNotExcuses
#BeATiggerNotAnEeyore
#FightTheGoodFight
#DoTheHardThings
#BeAwesome
#LetsGooooo

And it was easy from there. The compilation of these hashtags created the following bio:

Wakes up at 5am. Daily fights the good fight. Prides himself in never being out worked.  Always making moves, and never making excuses. Strives to be awesome. Let’s Gooooo!

If you have read this far. THANK YOU! I appreciate you.
I’m going to further break down and explain these #hashtags in future blog posts.

Wakes Up at 5am. Alright, here's the disclaimer. I don't wake up at 5:00 am everyday. Though, I'm certain I wake up at 5:00 am more than most people. And... I wish I did everyday, because my days are better AND more productive days when I do. My alarm is set for...
